On Monday morning, a Palestinian man, identified as Raed Saket Abdul-Rahim Jaradat, 22, was shot and killed after allegedly stabbing a 19 year old Israeli.

Jaradat was killed near the Beit Einun junction to the north of Hebron. The Israeli is in a serious condition after being wounded in the neck.

The Times of Israel reports that the injured Israeli is a soldier.

The incident took place the day after Dania Irsheid, 17, was shot and killed in Hebron. The Israel Police Foreign Press Spokesperson stated that Irsheid had attempted to stab a border policeman.

At least eight other Palestinians were injured by Israeli forces Sunday, including a 13 year old who was shot and injured during clashes in the village of Hizma, near Ramallah.

At least seven more were injured in a raid following a suspected knife attack near the village of Sa’ir, in the Hebron governorate.

A suspected stabbing attack also took place near the Ariel settlement Sunday. The suspect fled the scene, and was detained several hours later.

At least 58 Palestinians have now been killed since the beginning of the month. Nine Israelis have been killed in the same period.
