Israeli forces shot and killed an elderly Palestinian women

Israeli forces shot and killed Tharwat al-Sharawi, 72 after an alleged vehicle attack in Halhul, north of Hebron on Friday.


Haaretz reported that the woman attempted to run over Israeli soldiers in Halhul and was shot and seriously wounded by Israeli forces.


No Israeli were reported injured.


Five Palestinians were also injured during clashes in Hebron on Friday.


According to Ma'an News Agency, four Palestinians were hit with 0.22 bullets in the lower extremities while one person was shot in the head with a rubber-coated steel bullet.


Following these incidents, three Israelis were wounded in two shooting attacks in less than two hours in Hebron.


In a statement on twitter, the IDF confirmed two Israelis had been shot at the Ibrahimi Mosque and forces were searching the area. An hour later, another Israeli was shot and severely injured near Beit Einun, north of Hebron.


Also on Friday, a 23 year old Palestinian man, identified as Salameh Moussa Abu Jame, was shot and killed by Israeli forces during clashes near Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.


On Thursday, Israeli forces shot and killed Malik Talal al-Shareef, 25, after he allegedly attempted to stab an Israeli soldier in the Gush Etzion settlement close to Bethlehem.


More than 75 Palestinians have been killed and 2617 more injured with live and rubber coated bullets since early October. At least 9 Israelis have been killed in the same period.
