    On the first Friday of Ramadan, mass prayer to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem from the West Bank went smoothly - at least for men over the age of 50, and women over the age of 45. Most young Palestinians were prevented from entering the Old City. ST McNeil reporting from Qalandiya checkpoint.

    2 Palestinians and 1 Israeli have been arrested during a protest which took place on Monday afternoon against the repeated demolitions of the village of Al Arakib in the Nakab-Negev. During the night Israeli authorities demolished the village of Al-Arakib for the third time in two weeks. Nicky Elliott witnessed the demolition.

    A Case Report published on the Lancet details the horrific burns suffered by an 18 years-old male civilian during the Israeli attack on Gaza in January 2009. The man presented to the Al- Shifa Medical Centre in the Gaza Strip, after an attack with an incendiary shell.

  • 16-Year Old Arrested, Fined After Being Shot By Settler

    On June 3, an Israeli settler shot Ibrahim Al-Biss and his friend Moataz outside Al-Aroub camp. Three weeks later, one week after he left the hospital, Israeli police detained Ibrahim at Kiryat Arabat. After his father paid 1500 shekels to release him, the boy was served with a military court order. Kara Newhouse reports.

  • Masked Attack

    On Saturday morning, 30 to 35 masked Israeli settlers stormed the Palestinian village of At-Tuwani in the South Hebron Hills. Armed with metal clubs, slingshots, knives, and stones, the attackers targeted the house closest to the edge of the woods. Michael Carpenter investigated for Palestine Monitor.
