On the first Friday of Ramadan, mass prayer to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem from the West Bank went smoothly - at least for men over the age of 50, and women over the age of 45. Al–Walaja village is gradually disappearing

This hillside village lies nearby the Israeli Jewish settlement of Gilo. The settlement is expanding and Israeli authorities are seizing more land. Palestine Monitor visited the village during one of the protests organised by the local residents.

Saturday is the day that the Settlers’ Tour of the casbah of Hebron takes place. Visitors come from either the settlements within the old city itself or nearby Kiryat Arba. Since the end of April, Palestinian, Israeli and international activists have gathered on Saturday afternoons during the tour and protested next to the checkpoint gate separating Shuhada Street from the casbah. Palestine Monitor reporting from the field.

Three-Day Bil’in Conference ends with a protester badly injured

Nabi Saleh: Another Friday Of Protest
