A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli forces Tuesday evening, and two others injured, during armed clashes north of Ramallah.

According to Israeli army sources, three armed Palestinians arrived in a car near an Israeli military patrol and opened fire on an Israeli military patrol near Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.

Israeli forces returned fire and killed one of the men, identified as Muhammad Munir Hassan Saleh, 24, from Aura village.

The two other Palestinians were injured in the gun battle and detained by Israeli forces.

No Israeli forces were injured in the incident.

According to Ma’an News Agency, Israeli soldiers prevented a Red Crescent ambulance from reaching the scene of the incident.

Saleh was reportedly left on the ground for over an hour without being treated by medics.
