PMRS is very concerned by recent developments in Gaza. We are following the situation closely with our colleagues on the ground. Our teams are ready to intervene should the situation require it.

In line with our mandate and international law, we call for the protection of the Palestinian people in Gaza from any forms of violence. Civilians must be protected. All further escalation in the violence must be avoided and the inhumane Israeli blockade must be lifted immediately in order to avoid further deterioration of the already disastrous humanitarian situation inside the Strip.

PMRS is extremely concerned about the grave violations committed by Hamas security forces against peaceful protesters who were demonstrating against unprecedented deterioration of the humanitarian situation.

PMRS has joined its voice to other civil society organizations’ to demand the immediate cessation of all human rights violations in Gaza.
