Three Palestinians have been shot and killed Saturday after allegedly perpetrating three separate stabbing attacks in Hebron and Jerusalem.

Fadil Qawasmi, 18, was shot and killed by an Israeli settler on Shuhada Street in Hebron. A spokesperson from the Israeli army claimed that the teenager attempted to stab the settler, who then opened fire and killed him.

According to Haaretz, Palestinian officials have doubted whether Qawasmi was in fact attempting to carry out a knife attack.

Ma’an News Agency reported an eyewitness account stating that Israeli forces prevented paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society from reaching Qawasmi as he lay motionless on the ground.

The eyewitness also saw Israeli settlers “distributing candies” after the Palestinian teenager was shot and killed.

Footage of the incident shows the settler shooting the teenager as IDF soldiers stand nearby.

Amid the string of stabbing attacks which have taken place across Israel and the West Bank since Oct. 3, many of the perpetrators have been shot and killed on the scene by Israeli forces. However this is the first suspect to have been shot by an Israeli settler.

Not long after the incident in Hebron, a 16 year old Palestinian was shot and killed in the illegal settlement of Armon Hanatziv in East Jerusalem after allegedly attempting to stab an Israeli officer.

At approximately midday, a female Palestinian was shot and killed after allegedly attempting to stab a border police officer near the Wadi al-Ghrus area of Hebron. The Israeli officer sustained minor injuries.
