At approximately 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Israeli security forces began searching for a man suspected of injuring a  25 year old Israeli near the Ariel settlement in the West Bank.

Witnesses also claim that a Palestinian woman was shot and killed by Israeli border police in Hebron Sunday afternoon.

Ma’an News Agency has recorded an eyewitness as saying "occupation soldiers covered a young Palestinian woman who was lying on the ground bleeding without giving her medical aid at all, before an ambulance arrived and took her."

The Israel Police Foreign Press Spokesperson claimed that the woman attempted to stab a police officer before she was shot.

The incident comes after a Palestinian man was shot and critically injured by an Israeli settler near the village of Sa’ir in the Hebron governorate late Sunday morning.

Ma’an News Agency has described Israeli reports which claim a Palestinian man attempted to stab a settler; the settler then reportedly shot Azzam Azmi Shalalda, 20, after the man suspected of the knife attack had fled the scene.

The mayor of Sa’ir said that seven Palestinian residents of the village were shot and injured by Israeli forces during a raid following the incident.

Earlier Sunday morning, a 13 year old Palestinian was shot and injured by Israeli forces during clashes in the village of Hizma, near Ramallah.

The boy was shot by live ammunition in both his cheek and left shoulder.

At least 57 Palestinians have now been killed by Israeli forces since Oct.1.
